The GI-Kinder Charity is a transatlantic initiative for GI children, their fathers in the U.S. and mothers in Germany. Even before founding the charity, the initiators were sought out for advice by many people affected by this problem. For most of those seeking help, these discussions were a great relief. For people in this situation there is an enormous need for support and advice. This revelation led to the founding of the GI-Kinder Charity. The charity supports and motivates people in their search and facilitates familiarization between the parties to bring German-American families together after decades of separation.
